In 2019, as Marketing Manager at ASAM, I received an award from the American Society of Public Health Care Editors for the redesign of ASAM Weekly, a newsletter I took over in 2018. Aiming to make it more impactful, I conducted a readership survey to guide improvements, brought on an additional editor, and introduced expert editorial content. We reorganized the layout for a cleaner, modern look and adjusted the schedule for fresher news. This award underscored ASAM Weekly’s value in delivering timely, high-quality insights to the addiction medicine community.
